BREAKLING NEWS: Review Your Economic Strategy Osun State House Of Assembly Tells The President — See Details


The economic situations in the country has spared nobody as all Nigerians are feeling the pains of the economic recession. There is inflation, hunger, poverty etc. The Osun State House of Assembly has called on the President to review his economic strategy, the House also emphasizes the need for all hands to be on deck to ensure that Nigeria overcomes this storm.
The House released the statement which states, ‘’It is public knowledge that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has designed an economic strategy that would eventually make Nigeria better than what it was.”
They call on the “Federal Government to meticulously monitor and review its economic strategy in such a way that it would quickly address the pains that Nigerians are going through,” adding that “such a strategy would bring succor to the lives of the citizenry.”
It was also added that, “It is understandable that Nigerians are going through very hard times, owing to the poor economic situation and these have been causing a lot of pains.
“These pains cannot be unconnected with the depreciation in the value of the naira, the drop in oil prices, the scarcity of money in circulation and the corruption that had affected all the fabrics of our economy which the present government is now struggling to fight.
“On the other hand, it is understandable that the government led by President Buhari is working hard to turn things around.
“Therefore, while the citizenry should have more patience, tolerance, endurance, patriotic and greater willingness to make personal sacrifices for the good of all, the government must also strive towards rapidly overcoming economic and developmental challenges in the nation.”
The House applauded Nigerians for their tolerance, patience and sacrifice in spite of all the current economic hardship and also ask Nigerians to persevere and endure for a little while longer. The legislature calls on the masses to be kind and generous especially during this season of celebration.It also acknowledged the nation’s progress in its fight against the Boko Haram insurgency.
