This year’s three presidential debate moderators have been announced by the Commission on Presidential Debates. They are: NBC’s Lester Holt, CNN’s Anderson Cooper and ABC’s Martha Raddatz, and Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace.

However,Trump has something to say about this. Trump suggests that there be no moderator for the presidential debates but that he and Hillary Clinton just sit down and debate with one another.

Trump said, “The fact is that they’re gaming the system. I think that maybe we should just have no moderator. Let Hillary and I sit there and just debate.”

Trump said this because critics said Lester Holt was soft on him during a national security town hall last week and argued that the next moderator will try to be overly tough on him to avoid similar criticism.

“I can see it happening right now. The new person is going to try to be really hard on Trump just to show, you know, the establishment what he can do. So I think it’s very unfair what they’re doing.”

Trump went further to say Lester was not soft on him. He said the only reason it seemed so was because he answered questions better than Hillary Clinton. The first presidential debate will be taking place on Monday, September 26 at Hofstra University.
