America was still in shock over the 2005 video of Trump when another bomb was dropped. Russia is seeking to interfere in with the U.S. election process. Russia intends to do so through the hacking of political organizations and individuals, including the Democratic National Committee.
Hilary Clinton was alarmed by this revelation and even said it at the second presidential debate on Sunday night. She said, “We have never in the history of our country been in a situation where an adversary, a foreign power, is working so hard to influence the outcome of the election.”
What did Donald Trump have to say to all these? He said, “She doesn’t know if it’s the Russians doing the hacking,” talking about Hillary. “Maybe there is no hacking.”
This we consider weird, considering the fact that Trump receives classified intelligence briefings and as such he is definitely aware of the hackings.
Some think the hackings are aimed at damaging Hillary Clinton’s chances of becoming the president as the leaks that have been traced to Russia through the WikiLeaks website have been aimed at Ms. Clinton — most recently emails from her campaign.
It is however possible that Donald Trump knows nothing about the hackings, but he has however been defending Mr. Putin and his crimes throughout his campaign. He brushed off the fact that journalists and other opponents of the Russian ruler have been murdered and claimed Russia had not invaded Ukraine.
