Just when we thought the “locker room talk” was starting to die down a new revelation has us all talking about it in a different way. Turns out Donald Trump had bragged to Howard Stein about getting close to beautiful women in the Miss USA and Miss Universe competitions. What he however failed to brag about was how he behaves the same way in the Miss Teens USA pageant.
In 1997, during the Miss Teens USA pageant Trump has walked into the dressing room unannounced while the contestants, some as young as 15, were getting dressed. Four women who were contestants in the pageant verified this.
Mariah Billado, the former Miss Vermont Teen USA said, “I remember putting on my dress really quickly because I was like, ‘Oh my God, there’s a man in here.’” She also said on entering Trump had said, “Don’t worry, ladies, I’ve seen it all before.”
The other three women asked to remain anonymous and they too recall Trump walking in while girls were changing. Two of them said girls rushed to cover their bodies, one of them called it a “shocking” and “creepy’ experience. The third said she was dressed and introduced herself to Trump.
Donald Trump told Howard Stein in a recording released by CNN that “I’ll tell you the funniest thing is that I go backstage while everyone’s getting dressed. No men are anywhere and I’m allowed to go in, because I’m the owner of the pageant therefore I’m inspecting it … ‘Is everyone OK?’ You know they’re standing there with no clothes. ‘Is everybody OK?’ And you see these incredible looking women, and I sort of get away with things like that.”
Temple Taggart, a 21-year-old Miss Utah, who was also a contestant in 1997 said he had kissed her directly on the lips when she first met him as his form of greeting and that he did so to some other contestants as well.
