Mamadou Sakho is expected to leave Liverpool in January as he has fallen out of favour under manager Jurgen Klopp following a fall-out in pre-season.
The France international was sent home from Liverpool’s pre-season tour in the United States after manager Jurgen Klopp was left frustrated by the defender’s attitude while away with the club.
The former PSG man has been left to train with Liverpool’s U-23 squad and hasn’t made a single first team appearance this season.
French outlet ‘L’Equipe’ is reporting that Liverpool will look to offload Sakho in January and are happy to listen to offers for the centre-back.
Sakho joined Liverpool in 2013 and has since made 80 appearances for the Reds, but it does seem like Sakho has played his last game at the club.
