Claudio Ranieri believes that his side are on the brink of “something special” in the Champions League after winning their first three games in the competition.

Barring a miracle, Leicester City look set to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League after getting off to a 100 per cent start in the competition after their first three games.

The Foxes face FC Copenhagen on Wednesday night and will qualify for the las 16 with a victory.

Speaking ahead of the game against the Danish side on Tuesday, Ranieri said: “We are very close to achieving something special.

“We can write a new chapter of Leicester’s story.

“But maybe it’s not tomorrow. It’s important to be well organised as I respect Copenhagen a lot”.
